RECENT EXPERIENCE IN ELECTRIC INDUSTRY RESTRUCTURING 

Bruder, Gentile & Marcoux is extensively involved in matters related to the restructuring of the electric industry, including the following matters:

  • Divestiture of generating assets and associated changes to power supply contracts;

  • Implementation of open access transmission, including the development and administration of open access tariffs, novel network service concepts, transmission; 

  • Development of generator interconnection procedures and the drafting and negotiation of interconnection agreements;

  • Power marketing issues, including the development of cost-based and market-based tariffs and contracts, the creation of a master wholesale power contract and generation market power and market mitigation issues;

  • Wholesale power exchange tariffs, rates and services;
