Linda joined BGM as a law clerk in 2007 while attending the George Washington University Law School. Following graduation and admission to the Virginia Bar, she joined the firm as an associate. She now assists the firm and its clients in nearly every aspect of our practice.
Recently, Linda has been actively involved in a deepwater port license application before the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD). She has guided a number of clients through the process of applying for transmission rate incentives. She also assists clients on issues involving wholesale power contracts, electric rate disputes, open access transmission tariffs, market-based rate tariffs and natural gas certificate applications, and is the firm’s “go-to” person for matters involving Smart Grid.
Linda earned a Juris Doctor degree in 2008 from the George Washington University Law School, and a B.A., magna cum laude, in psychology in 2003 from Miami University of Ohio. She is a member of the Energy Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar and the Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
