FERC Schedules Three Order No. 1000 Compliance Conferences

On Thursday, August 18, FERC issued a notice that it will be convening three technical conferences on September 12th and 13th, 2011 to discuss Order No. 1000 compliance requirements. The first conference will address compliance issues related to Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) and Independent System Operators (ISOs), the second conference will address compliance issues related to non-RTO/ISO regions in the Eastern Interconnection and the third conference will address compliance issues related to non-RTO/ISO regions in the Western Interconnection.
